Elle 18 Color Pop Liner- Blue: Review & Swatches

Hello Ladies,

I thought that after I take my maternity leave and stay at home I will gets lots of free time and can write on my blog regularly but this is not happening at all as I have become more lazy than before and till my son and hubby are in their school and office I relax watching TV or try new dishes. Well coming back to the topic here I am with a beautiful liquid liner which is very affordable and good in quality.

Price: Rs. 75/-

Quantity: 5ml

Shelf Life: 24 months

My Experience with Elle 18 Color Pop Liner- Blue:

Packaging: It comes in the classic Elle 18 packaging which looks really cute. The shade name is written on the top of the cap. The applicator is of good quality and eases the application.

Shade: It’s not exact a navy blue shade but little lighter than that with a semi-glossy finish. It goes well with blue dresses and can be worn in office too.

Texture, Pigmentation & Staying Power: It’s neither runny nor too thick, it has a medium consistency and the applicator picks the perfect amount of the product. The pigmentation is superb and only one stroke is enough. The staying power is good too. It stays for about 5-6 hours on my lids if I don’t rub my eyes. Its not waterproof so it can be easily taken off, but I still prefer using a makeup remover to clean all the traces.

What I like about Elle 18 Color Pop Liner- Blue:

  • Affordable and quality product
  • Dries fast
  • Applicator is good
  • Doesn’t chips on the lids
  • Great staying power
  • Availability is not an issue

What I dislike about Elle 18 Color Pop Liner- Blue:

  • Nothing as such because we cannot get more than this in such a price

Style N We Rating: 4/5

Final Thoughts: I am thinking of getting the green shade too as Iam really impressed with the product.

Will I recommend Elle 18 Color Pop Liner- Blue? I will definitely recommend it to all the makeup lovers and especially the newbies and the college goers.

Love,
Navneet.

Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick- Coral Romance 42: Review and Swatches

Hello Beautiful Ladies,

Now it’s time for me to show and review the stuff individually which you had seen in my last haul post and I would like to start with a beautiful and an easy to pocket lipstick- Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick in Coral Romance.

Price: Rs. 100

Quantity: 4.3 ml

Shelf Life: 30 months

Enriched with cocoa butter

My Experience with Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick- Coral Romance 42:

Packaging: It comes in a black bullet shaped packaging with a image of a girl and the brand name. The name and number of the shade is written below. The packaging as compared to the price is okay as we cannot demand more than this.

Shade: It’s a beautiful coral shade with a glossy finish. It will suit all the Indian skin tones and a perfect daily and an office wear.

Texture, Pigmentation & Staying Power: The texture is glossy and creamy. The pigmentation is not that great and needs gliding at least 2-3 times. It stays for about 2-3 hours on me and then starts vanishing. It doesn't leave any tint on the lips and doesn't make them dry.

As per the price is concerned I found this particular shade very economical for college going girls. They have lovely shades in the range and here’s how it looks on me:

What I liked about Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick- Coral Romance 42:

  • Most affordable
  • Available all around
  • Glossy texture which makes the lips moisturized
  • Great daily wear and an office wear shade
  • Economical for college goers

What I disliked about Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick- Coral Romance 42:

  • Nothing as such because in such a less price we cannot get more than this.

Style N We Rating: 4.5/5

Final Thought: I really like this shade and would love to try more shades from the range.

Will I recommend? Yes I will to all those who love corals.

Maybelline Color show Nail Polishes in Silver Linings and Blackout: Review and Swatches:

Hello Ladies,

Finally I got my hands on the most hyped nail paints of the season that is none other than the Maybelline Color show Nail polishes. I spotted these in a mall and got 2 shades which give a classic combination.

A fashion-forward range of 40 nail colors, affordable with HOT ?in-trend? shades! The range offers amazing quality, texture and variety. COLOR SHOW nail polishes dry incredibly fast, which makes it so much easier to apply coats. The brush is pretty small as well, which helps when you're trying to use multiple colors! Chip-resistant formula for bolder color that just won't quit. You can be assured of a few days of chip-free wear.

How to use: First apply a clear base coat to help your nail color last longer. Then, apply color in 3 strokes, painting the first line of nail polish up the center of your nail, followed by one stroke on either side. Finish with a clear top coat for added shine and longer wear.

Price: Rs. 75/-

Quantity- 6ml

Shelf Life- 36 months

My Experience with MaybellineColor show Nail Polishes in Silver Linings and Blackout:

Packaging: Maybelline after their so famous and affordable Colorama range has now come up with these Color show nail polishes which have a cute round packaging which looks very “goluu-moluu” with a black cap where the brand name is engrossed. On top of the cap the shade name and number is engrossed. The applicator is a bit flat which eases the application a lot.

Shade: The shade Silver Linings is a beautiful pure silver shade with a metallic finish and the shade Blackout is a black shade. I chose these two shades because I love the silver and black classy combination a lot.

Texture and Staying power: The formula is thin in consistency and lighter shades needs 3 coats for the best opacity whereas dark shades look great with 2 coats. It dries fast and doesn't chip for at least 3-4 days. It comes off fast with the remover and doesn't leave any yellow stain on the nails.

I have tried a simple nail art using these two shades. Hope you will like it.

What I love about Maybelline Color show Nail Polishes in Silver Linings and Blackout:

  • Affordable
  • Easily available
  • Lots of pop up shades available in the range
  • Superb quality
  • Cute packaging

What I don’t love about Maybelline Color show Nail Polishes in Silver Linings and Blackout:

  • Nothing at all

Style N We Rating: 5/5

Final Thoughts: I am going to hoard more shades soon, these are just fabulous.

Will I recommend? Of course yes.
