LUSH Mask of Magnaminty
LUSH Mask of Magnaminty- Review:
Hi All,
Here I come with a magical product
which I came across. I was so very much attracted to the hand made products
from LUSH that when my husband went for an office tour to Mumbai I gave him a
long list and Lush Mask of Magnaminty was one of the products which I had told
him to bring for me.
About LUSH Mask of Magnaminty:
Mask of
Magnaminty isn’t technically a daily ‘facial wash’; it’s actually a deep
cleansing face and back mask. China clay and fresh peppermint reach deep down
to pull the debris from your pores, giving you that delightful tingly-clean
sensation. We add loads of aduki beans to exfoliate flaky or dry skin, vanilla
absolute to calm redness and honey to soothe. Our inventors created Mask of
Magnaminty to be the ‘ultimate face mask’, intense but not harsh or abrasive on
the skin. We recommend using Mask of Magnaminty weekly to keep the skin in good
condition.

My Experience with LUSH Mask of
Magnaminty:
I have an oily skin which is acne
prone and this fact made me restless always and I use to search for products
which will help me out. I read in a blog about this mask and I made up my mind
that I have to get it. Lets go through the details:
Packaging: I love these tub packaging
of LUSH, because when kept on the shelf or refrigerator, they looks like a tub
of ice cream. The tubs are black in color with a screwed cap, it has the label
which contains a lot of information on it. These products are not tested on
animals and are freshly handmade and this is the biggest fact which attracted me.
Consistency: The pack is minty green
in color with a thick consistency. It has lots of granular substances in it
which helps in the scrubbing part while washing it off.
How to use and Results: It written on
the label that’s it’s a face and a back pack but I have used it on my face only
till now. I take off all my makeup and apply a layer of it and when it
dries I wash it with lukewarm water.
It claims to dry in 10-15 minutes but
this is not true it takes around 20-25 minutes to dry. As soon as I apply the
mask, it gives a cooling tingling effect which kind of relaxes my face muscles.
After it is dried, I take little water in my hands, do a little scrubbing and
then wash it off. The taking off thing is very time taking because here the
mask acts a bit stubborn.
But the after effects are just
amazing. It leaves my skin super clean and fresh looking. It adds a little glow
to my tired face too. I use this mask once a week and sometimes even twice a
week. It has helped me clear my blemishes and control the acne and I am very
happy due to this.
I always store it in my refrigerator
because fresh handmade masks has very less shelf life but if stored in refrigerator
their life can be increased by a month or so.
Pros of LUSH Mask of Magnaminty:
- Great looking tub packaging
- Minty green color which looks very yummy to see
- After applying it gives a cooling effect
- The granules present helps in the scrubbing part
- Leaves skin clean and fresh
- Helps in controlling acne
Cons of LUSH Mask of Magnaminty:
- Acts stubborn while washing it off
- Shelf life is very less
- Costly for some
Rating: 4.8/5
Final Thoughts: I would again repeat
as I did in my last post, “LUSH please come to my city”.
Will I recommend? Girls with acne
prone and oily skin should try this and Yes as the caption in the tub says “Don’t
mask those Spots, Mask of Magnaminty them”, I would repeat the same ;)
