Garnier B B Cream - Review:
Today BB Creams have become one of our needs for the life. A year ago we had heard of only Maybelline BB cream but now all the brands are launching these, whether it’s Garnier, Ponds, L’oreal, Revlon and recently launched by Colorbar too.
But from the date I have started using the Garnier one, it has became my cult favorite because of the affordable price and the medium coverage which is great for office goers like me.
About Garnier B B Cream:
Price: Rs.99 /- for 18g and Rs. 199 for 40g
My Experience with Garnier B B Cream:
Packaging: It comes in a beige colored flat tube, which is very convenient and sleek. The opening of the tube is good and controls the excess product from spilling out. The Garnier logo and other information are clearly written on the tube itself.
Consistency: The consistency is medium and blends beautifully. The coverage though is sheer but can be built up by using extra product, like on the under eye area and on blemishes.
It comes in one shade which is difficult for many because their skin tone would not match with it, but I feel the shade is universal and matches my skin tone perfectly.
How to use and Results: I dab the cream on my face and neck and blend it towards the outward direction. It is great for everyday use as it gives a sheer coverage without leaving any heavy feel or coat. I use it almost every day to office following with my Inglot concealer and a little compact. It does hide my open pores and blemishes to some extent but well, it works efficiently for me because I don’t like heavy coverage.
It does make skin little oily but compact balances it leaving behind a beautiful glow and clear looking skin.
Pros of Garnier B B Cream:
- Good Quantity
- Available every where
- Sheer to medium coverage
- Blends easily
- Doesn’t leaves heavy coat on the face
- Hides blemishes and pores to an extent
- Contains SPF 24
Cons of Garnier B B Cream:
- Makes skin a bit oily
- Comes only in one shade
Final Thoughts: I use it every day for office and is satisfied with the coverage. It would have been better if Garnier would have made 2 shades available in the range.
Will I recommend? I will recommend to those who want medium coverage especially those who will be using BB creams for the first time and even the college going gals.
