Maybelline Color show Nail Polishes in Silver Linings and Blackout: Review and Swatches:

Hello Ladies,

Finally I got my hands on the most hyped nail paints of the season that is none other than the Maybelline Color show Nail polishes. I spotted these in a mall and got 2 shades which give a classic combination.

A fashion-forward range of 40 nail colors, affordable with HOT ?in-trend? shades! The range offers amazing quality, texture and variety. COLOR SHOW nail polishes dry incredibly fast, which makes it so much easier to apply coats. The brush is pretty small as well, which helps when you're trying to use multiple colors! Chip-resistant formula for bolder color that just won't quit. You can be assured of a few days of chip-free wear.

How to use: First apply a clear base coat to help your nail color last longer. Then, apply color in 3 strokes, painting the first line of nail polish up the center of your nail, followed by one stroke on either side. Finish with a clear top coat for added shine and longer wear.

My Experience with MaybellineColor show Nail Polishes in Silver Linings and Blackout:

Packaging: Maybelline after their so famous and affordable Colorama range has now come up with these Color show nail polishes which have a cute round packaging which looks very “goluu-moluu” with a black cap where the brand name is engrossed. On top of the cap the shade name and number is engrossed. The applicator is a bit flat which eases the application a lot.

Shade: The shade Silver Linings is a beautiful pure silver shade with a metallic finish and the shade Blackout is a black shade. I chose these two shades because I love the silver and black classy combination a lot.

Texture and Staying power: The formula is thin in consistency and lighter shades needs 3 coats for the best opacity whereas dark shades look great with 2 coats. It dries fast and doesn't chip for at least 3-4 days. It comes off fast with the remover and doesn't leave any yellow stain on the nails.

I have tried a simple nail art using these two shades. Hope you will like it.

What I love about Maybelline Color show Nail Polishes in Silver Linings and Blackout:

  • Affordable
  • Easily available
  • Lots of pop up shades available in the range
  • Superb quality
  • Cute packaging

What I don’t love about Maybelline Color show Nail Polishes in Silver Linings and Blackout:

  • Nothing at all

Style N We Rating: 5/5

Final Thoughts: I am going to hoard more shades soon, these are just fabulous.

Will I recommend? Of course yes.
